This class will be broken up into 4 parts: 1) 1962 and before – the development of flight and the early era of manned flight; 2) 1962 to 1973 – The race to the moon and a hand shape in space: 3) After 1973 – Space stations and the future of space flight: and 4) Scientific discovery, probes to other worlds
