Senior College membership is required.

Memoir writing is about honoring your life story.  It's about recording life's layers - of love, loss, history, time, dreams, experiences, favorites, failures, hopes, shenanigans, and more.  In this course, you will mostly be freewriting about your lived experiences, find your favorite stories, craft them purposefully, and perhaps share them in class.  There may be pages you choose not to share, but please remember, bad ideas often make great stories! The subject matter of your work is up to you. Take advantage of the way life has surprised you, perplexed you, held you captive, set you free, made you laugh. A composition notebook will be provided; please bring your favorite writing implement.
