SAGEUMPI - Seniors Achieving Greater Education

Senior College membership required.

Turning everyday items (old, new, broken, vintage, scraps) into upcycled crafts, gifts, art, wooden signs, and do-it-yourself projects. We will provide kits and goody boxes you can also dig through, jewelry pins, fabric, ribbon, glass items such as bottles, candle holders, picture frames, stickers, beads, paper, et cetera. We encourage others to put on their thinking caps for completed items, one or many. At the end of this project, we are hoping everyone has something to take home for their own keepsakes or a gifting project for either Halloween or Christmas. You can be as masculine or feminine as you would like with your project as this is for men and women, so keep that in mind if you bring in any of your own items to work with. We will be bringing glue guns but also other items for those who are not familiar with the hot glue process. Any actual sewing will be at your own discretion and at home, but prepared scraps are fine to bring in. Lynn will also bring starter scraps. No hazardous chemicals.
